		What is the impact of the Credit Card Act of 2009? Recently President Obama signed the Credit Card Act of 2009, a bill that seeks to address many areas for credit card reform. Key elements of the act include the banning of unfair rate increases, unfair fee traps and clear disclosures of account terms. This new Act will have very little impact on the Credit Union's credit card program. Why? 		Our Bronco CD for Students Saving just got a lot easier! Our Bronco CD is a special certificate of deposit for our members 25 years of age and younger.  The Bronco CD encourages youth savings with a low minimum balance of $100.  This 12-Month CD allows members to deposit during the term and encourages the growth of the savings account.  It's the perfect account for students that are interested in starting their savings account and also perfect for parents or grandparents wanting to get their children or grandchildren savings started.  We can set up payroll deduction or an automatic transfer to build the certificate of deposit without your having to think about it.

		Stay on Top of Your Accounts Cal Poly FCU offers you several ways to stay on top of your accounts.  You can check the current status of your account through On-Line Banking.   You can also call our 24-hour teller at (888) 691.8664. We can also deliver your statement to you electronically through E-Statements.  Around the first business day of the month, you will receive an e-mail from the Credit Union informing you that your statement is ready for review.  If you are interested in E-Statements, contact our office.  staff@calpolyfcu.org.
		Power Up Your Bronco Card Looking for a convenient way to add money to your Bronco Access Card? Just stop by the Credit Union and we can transfer funds to your card for you in a snap! We extend this service to members and non-members; however for non-members, we will only accept cash for payment to the Bronco Access Card.
