Holiday / Vacation or Alternate Share Account - If you're planning a dream vacation or need help saving throughout the year for the holidays, this alternate share account can be set up on payroll deduction, periodic payment or direct deposit.  These automatic deposit services build your savings without having to think about it.  No minimum balance required. Check out our rates.  

Money Market Savings - Earn a higher rate of interest on our Money Market account and retain ease of access to your money. You'll enjoy the following benefits on our Money Market:

Share Certificates - Invest in a Cal Poly Federal Credit Union no-risk, high yielding share certificate.  Choose from terms of up to two years.  Dividends are compounded and paid monthly to your certificate account or paid directly to your share or checking account.  Check out our rates! 

We also offer a unique "Bump-Up" rate program, as the name implies you can "bump" your interest rate up if share certificate rates go up.  So invest in a term account and if during your term interest rates increase, ask the credit union to "bump" your rate up to the higher rate and earn the new rate for the balance of your term.  Members are limited to one "bump" per term.   

Bronco CD  - This special 12 month certificate account is available for members 25 and under with a low minimum opening balance requirement of $100.  This certificate is designed with our students in mind, encouraging youth savings with a low minimum balance and allowing deposits at any time during the term (minimum of $25) to build the account balance. Payroll deduction is available to aid in the building of your savings.

  Individual Savings Accounts (IRA)  

Save for retirement with a Cal Poly FCU Individual Retirement Account (IRA).  We offer both Traditional and Roth IRA Accounts.  You could earn a tax deduction benefit (talk to your tax professional), a high yield, and an independent future.  You can contribute up to $5,000 of earned income annually to an individual IRA up to age 70 1/2.  You may also contribute an additional $1,000 if you are age 50 or better as a catch-up contribution.  You can also open a spousal IRA if your spouse has no compensation and you file a joint tax return.

IRA Share Account  - You may open a Cal Poly FCU IRA for as little as $100.  This low minimum balance account allows you an opportunity to deposit regulary into an account to build for your retirement. 

IRA Share Certificate - We offer a certificate account with a term of 12 months.  This certificate of deposit requires a minimum balance of only $2,000 and offers you a higher rate of return.  You may transfer from  an IRA at another institution to establish your IRA.
